It is a webmaster tool for updating text. More than one replacement can be carried out at the same time with multi-line text and special characters. Editing controls are quite flexible and include such features as restricting the replacement to just inside HTML tags. Tags such as title tag, meta tags or inside the ALT tag text used with images as well as meta tag and so on. You would be able to search for `fuzzy` text patterns using popular perl-style regular expressions, and friendly EasyPatterns, with predefined patterns for [Whitespace], [Date], [Time], [IPAddress], [EmailAddress] and so on. The text search can be restricted in several other ways such as line ranges, column ranges also. Case sensitive or case insensitive searches can be specified. Removing blank lines or simply white spaces is easy too. You can convert text files from other environments such as Unix, Mac and PC/Windows into Windows end of line format. Replacements are possible within Zip files and the newer Windows formats such as Office 2007 formats DOCX, XSLX and PPTX are also supported. TextPipe can be automated from the command line. It can also be integrated into an application via COM scripting from other programming languages. A Standard and Pro version are also available. A large no of sample filters are included along with a comprehensive online help documentation.
